In the 20th century, professional educators often had to rely on formal, face-to-face professional development opportunities to learn new knowledge and skills to expand professional comptence. In the flat world of the 21st century, connected educators (those with access to high speed Internet connections) have an amazing array of digital learning choices. Given the vast array of web 2.0 tools and options that are availlable, where should teachers and librarians start when planning summer digital learning activites?
